AT MINERAL SCHOOL FOR GREEN WASTE CUSTOMERS TO DISPOSE OF YARD WASTE
Can you haul yard waste at other times? Please email us and let us know at mineralcalifornia@gmail.com to support the community areas and those who have trouble raking. The Raking Club will help those in need, but could use some help from those who can dispose of yard waste. Click here to view Green Waste's flyer for details.
If your volunteers or helpers need signs on your yard waste bag to help guide in transportation, these printable signs are for you. Print, cut and tape to your bags to indicate which bags can be disposed of and which should have the contents disposed of (for those using recyclable bags).
The Mineral Raking Club sometimes organizes clean up projects and throughout the warmer seasons, support neighbors with raking support, when they need it.
A group of people who like to support neighbors consider themselves the Raking Club, feel free to join... you're now a member! There are no meetings, but news does travel among those willing to help, especially at Breakfast Club at Lassen Mineral Lodge on Sunday mornings starting at 10 AM and later.
If you would like support picking up pine cones, sticks and pine needles to make Mineral more resilient to fire embers, visit the Breakfast Club on Sunday mornings or email mineralcalifornia@gmail.com.
On Dumpster Day, Green Waste of Tehama brings large dumpsters to Park Headquarters near the community meeting building for the convenience of their customers.
This free service is available to customers in good standing who subscribe to curbside garbage collection OR pay the Transfer Station Usage Fee.
Dumpster Days are Green Waste's way of helping their customers get rid of large amounts of yard trimmings and pine needles all at once. Plastic bags are not acceptable for disposal: materials collected in plastic bags must be emptied into the dumpster.
