CONSERVATION & PRESERVATION
Pine Needle Raking and Removal
Thanks to Jim Richardson for coordinating the volunteer raking team from Red Bluff that has been raking public spaces along the sides of roads. The Raking Club is picking up and disposing of the pine needles... which is so much easier than having to rake everything, too! Thanks also to Lefty for helping to transport the pine needles. A good trailer makes a world of difference. Feel free to join in when you see rake-pportunities to rake or remove green waste. We're off to a good start this year with fire prevention!
Large Tree Removal Grants
The large tree removal program is planned for Spring/Summer 2027.
Bookcase
If you have a spare bookcase 48” wide and 11-12” deep, we could use one under the bulletin board at the post office to hold the postcards, trinket exchange and other community information. If so, please reply and let us know.
